BIO

Dr. Manjula Sandirigama received Ph.D. (2001) in Computer Science from the University of Ehime, Japan and M.Sc (1998) in Computer Science from the University of Ehime, Japan, and B.Sc. (1991) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. He was appointed a Senior Lecturer at the University of Peradeniya in the Department of Computer Engineering and later promoted to Associate Professor. He is also an Attorney-at-Law, Sri Lanka. His primary expertise is in Secure Communication Protocols. He also has expertise in Intellectual Property Rights and teaches IP for general engineering students. He has authored a book on IP for science and technology students.
