Dr. Upul Jayasinghe is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering, LJMU, UK, and obtained his M.Eng. and B.Sc. Eng. (Hons) from the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand, and from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka respectively. He is an experienced academic with years of extensive undertakings as a lecturer/researcher/engineer in many international institutions. He has also played a key role in many funded research and development projects including standardization with ITU-T. He is an active member of IEEE, ACM, and IESL of Sri Lanka.
